I just heard this a little while ago and loved it so much I want to share it <3 Enjoy :)
This blog contains mostly videos with some writing here and there about Islam/religion or just life reminders. The videos are ones that I really like and recommend to others for various reasons. Some are short (and sweet) and come in different forms ie. poetry, others longer for more deeper subjects.

The Deen Show: Top 10 Reasons Why Jesus is NOT God with Joshua Evans
- Jesus is one of the mightiest messengers that God sent to humanity. He was sent to the children of Israel.
- Did mighty miracles with God’s permission ex. healed the sick, the blind, the lepers, and gave life to the dead.
- Jesus was the word of God on earth.
- Islam is the only other religion where it is a tenant of faith to believe in Jesus and everything he did. Cannot be a Muslim without belief in Jesus!
FACTS
1. Muslims loves Jesus
2. Muslims believe in Jesus
3. Jesus was a messenger of god
#10- God cannot be born Jesus was
born (without a father, was a miracle)
1. God didn’t come into existence, he always existed
2. God was not born, was not created
3. God had no beginning, Jesus had a beginning
1. God didn’t come into existence, he always existed
2. God was not born, was not created
3. God had no beginning, Jesus had a beginning
#9- No explicit verses esp. in Bible that says Jesus is God
FACTS
1. Jesus never said, “I am God.”
2. Jesus never said, “Worship me.”
3. No explicit statement anywhere.
- You can make the Bible/Quran say anything you want if you pick and choose and interpret!
1. Jesus never said, “I am God.”
2. Jesus never said, “Worship me.”
3. No explicit statement anywhere.
- You can make the Bible/Quran say anything you want if you pick and choose and interpret!
#8- No man has seen God at anytime
FACTS
1. No one has ever seen God.
2. People saw Jesus
3. No one can see god in this life
1. No one has ever seen God.
2. People saw Jesus
3. No one can see god in this life
#7- This was not the belief of early Christians
FACTS
1. Jesus never taught the trinity
2. The word trinity is nowhere in the bible
3. Trinity is something man made
- Paul was the first person to make up the trinity doctrine and say to believe in it. Paul never saw Jesus, walked or talked with Jesus. Paul claimed that he had a vision on the way toDamascus
when he was actually going to persecute Christians. Paul was the first person
to come up with the title of Christian, trinity, godship of Jesus.
1. Jesus never taught the trinity
2. The word trinity is nowhere in the bible
3. Trinity is something man made
- Paul was the first person to make up the trinity doctrine and say to believe in it. Paul never saw Jesus, walked or talked with Jesus. Paul claimed that he had a vision on the way to
#6- Jesus ate, slept, and prayed
-The nature of god is being self sufficient.
FACTS
1. God doesn’t eat, sleep, or pray, etc.
2. Jesus ate, slept, and prayed.
3. Jesus is a messenger, not god.
1. God doesn’t eat, sleep, or pray, etc.
2. Jesus ate, slept, and prayed.
3. Jesus is a messenger, not god.
-If god needed something, he wouldn’t be god!
-Jesus ate, slept and drank. If not, he would have died. He is not self sufficient. God is self sufficient. Can’t be both at the same time!
Jesus would pray when he had an issue.
To the disciples, “I need to go pray.” “Wait here while I
pray.”
1. Matthew 26:36 “Then cometh Jesus
with them unto a place called Gethsemane , and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and
pray yonder.”
2. Mark 14:32 “And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane : and
he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.”
He would go to the temple and prostrate with his face on
the ground.
Matthew 26:39 “And he went a little
further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be
possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou
wilt.”
- Shows that he is in need of something greater
than himself. Prayer shows that one is in need of something greater than you.
If Jesus was God, he would have told people to pray to him, he wouldn’t have to
pray.
#5- Jesus claimed that God’s
knowledge was greater than his.
Jesus was asked about the hour, Day of Judgment.
Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and
hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”
- If Jesus was god, he would have known that.
- If the trinity was true, (if God was God, Jesus was God, and the holy spirit was god) then how can one know the same info and not the others if they are the same person.
- If god knows the hour, Jesus and the holy spirit should know the hour.
FACTS
1. God knows everything.
2. Jesus didn’t know everything
3. Jesus is a messenger, not god.
1. God knows everything.
2. Jesus didn’t know everything
3. Jesus is a messenger, not god.
John 14:28 “Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come
again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the
Father: for my Father is greater than I.”
- Jesus admitted that father is great than him. If they are both god, than how can one be greater than the other.
- Cannot explain the concept of trinity to a child and have them understand it. gods way of life is for everyone. Can be explained to someone who is illiterate, PhD, child, deaf person.
- 1+1+1=1?
- Bible- “God is not the author of confusion.” Trinity is confusing!
#4- Jesus explicitly states that he
is NOT god.
John 17:3 “And this is life eternal,
that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast
sent.”
#3- Son of God?
FACTS
1. God doesn’t die
2. God doesn’t have children
3. God doesn’t have human needs
- Puppies, kittens…baby Gods?
1. God doesn’t die
2. God doesn’t have children
3. God doesn’t have human needs
- Puppies, kittens…baby Gods?
#2- God cannot change
Malachi 3:6 For I am
the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
- God’s nature doesn’t change, is not subjected to the same laws he created ex. time. He doesn’t get old, tired, sleepy. God created sun and air, but he doesn’t need its warmth, doesn’t get hot or cold.
- “God can to anything.” incorrect!
- He only does what is permeate to his nature. God can do anything except that which would make him less than god ex. lie, murder, be unjust etc. He cannot go to heaven or hell, cant die and wasn’t born. For this reason, Islam has attributes for god.
FACTS
1. Only god is perfect
2. God doesn’t change
3. God’s message has always been the same
1. Only god is perfect
2. God doesn’t change
3. God’s message has always been the same
- Everyone is a slave to something ex. boss, money etc.
FACTS
1. Jesus called on god saying Allaha
2. Allah means the one true god in Arabic
3. Arabic Jews and Christians use the name Allah
1. Jesus called on god saying Allaha
2. Allah means the one true god in Arabic
3. Arabic Jews and Christians use the name Allah
- Humans (and jinn) are the only creations that God gave a free will to!
#1- God is the only one to be
worshipped!
- God is the object of worship. Give devotion to, make prayers to, sacrifice to, charity in the name of
Matthew 15:9 “But in vain they do
worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
- ex. trinity, Jesus being god.
What God Wants From You!
1. Worship
God alone and not his creations.
2. Obey God and not your desires
3. Submit and surrender to God alone in peace.

Native Deen- Mercy to Mankind and Noble Brother
Please read the lyrics.
Lyrics for Mercy to Mankind
Mawlaya Salli Wassalim da-Iman Abadan Ala Habi Bika Khairil Khalqi Kullimi (2x) (O my Lord send peace and blessings upon your Beloved (PBUH) The best of all creations).
Have you read about the time, he stepped from his house, There was trash at his door Calmly he gathered the trash that was scattered, But every day there was more. But one day it was missing, so he went to visit the neighbor he thought was ill The neighbor, amazed at the kindness displayed Despite all the trash he would spill.
Or what about the time when he came to a town, in hope of spreading this word But the leaders sent the children to chase and to stone him Till he was bleeding and hurt. But he was given the choice, that this town be destroyed But our Prophet refused He said "I hope for the children, will one day be given this guidance, the light they will choose".
[Chorus] He was a mercy, a mercy, to all of mankind He was a mercy, a mercy, to all of mankind He was Rahmatan, Rahmatan, lilalameen, He was Rahmatan, Rahmatan, lilalameen.
Did you hear about the time, he saw a bird in distress Her young ones were taken away He ordered the man to return all of them And taught not treat them this way
Or what about the time, he was given some lamb, by this lady one time As he started to eat, he was warned of the meat, the lady put poison inside. When they brought her to him, he asked her the truth She admitted to what she had done But despite her behavior, the prophet forgave her His kindness would shine like the sun.
So many stories, his justice his mercy He grace we all can see At conquest of Mecca, the foes who had fought him he said, "you all be free, be free".
[chorus]
Lately people saying, stuff about my Prophet They see our numbers rising, so they make him a target, Agitate the Muslims, get money in their pocket We just work to spread the truth and make sure people got it.
Like how he treated neighbors with all the love and care, Examples that he gave us, to be honest and fair How to be forgiving, respecting every faith Giving rights to the women, at war how to behave The women and the children and every innocent Should be protected no matter how oppressed we get So we know they're saying stuff about the Prophet that ain't true They did that at the prophets time so this ain't nothing new
Did he worry what the people said after he passed Or was he more concerned about us doing what he asked Do our deeds, tell the story of the man he was A Mercy to Mankind, lets show the world his love.
[chorus]
Mawlaya Salli Wassalim da-Iman Abadan Ala Habi Bika Khairil Khalqi Kullimi (O my Lord send peace and blessings upon your Beloved (PBUH) The best of all creations).

Invitation by Boonaa Mohammed
Invitation
I begin with the salutations of the angels and past nations
A demonstration of peace negotiations to open the lines of communication
I ain't looking for donations or trying to start an altercation
Just acting on my obligation as a brother in civilization
Many have submitted applications to the roads of salvation
Lives marked by frustration, depression and desperation
But based on your fascination with reincarnation and free-masons
I'd like to join the conversation and provide a different interpretation
According to my calculations, there is only one God with no duplication
Any imitation has limitations with insidious implications
And for your information every innovation is a deviation
An illustration of irritation initiation for your inhalation
But what is the correlation between compensation and condemnation
A combination of complications facing your consideration
Cause chasing this dunya is like chasing the constellations
You could have all the money in the world, but still be living on a mental plantation
True liberation is in the prostration to the creator of all creation
Through concentration and contemplation reaching a higher elevation
Even the stars in the sky were divinely designed as a decoration
Only to spark the realization, you don't know your final destination!
But Behold! The explanation to all your Godly speculations
A continuation of Jesus Christ's mission live in operation
Following the duration after the pathetic Prophetic Assassination
Please refer to Quranic documentation for further elaboration
Following the chains of narration, we can single out fabrications
In the preservation of the prophet's communication; may Allah send upon him peace and salutations,
Notwithstanding abrogation's and the formulation of translations
This deen is the Haqq, Walahi it's amazing
The concept of the congregation and the unification of one nation
Built upon the foundations of education and information
And of course the authentic applications of the best of generations
Like an exclamation, truly this alone should be a cause for celebration
But with no hesitation we are the first in interrogation
Demanding our integration while policing our immigration
Complete generalization based on some rotten vegetation
With no advocation we are all guilty by association
But despite media propagation and radicalization legislations
We are a nation of moderation, gratification and glorification
Browns, Blacks, Caucasians and a whole bunch of different Asians
All making prostration to the One Lord of all creation
This is a lyrical refutation to populations in hibernation
Join me on this path to purification, following in the messengers' revelation
And pronounce the decleration; that there is only one God worth invocation
Please accept this invitation, asalaam alikum

Dust is My Bed (Arabic nasheed with English subtitles)
Pay attention to the words and think about what every single person will eventually face, death! Live life according to Allah's commands to please Him and have a happy life in this world and the next in Jannah (Heaven), inshAllah (if Allah wills). Do good deeds NOW so you can benefit from them. Our families, friends, money, job, possessions, etc. will not help us once we die, our actions while alive will!
Sahih International: Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do.
016.097
Sahih International: Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.

Jesus Talks by Boonaa Mohammed
Jesus Talks
Jesus is alive,
Beyond the skies, he's doing fine
Kicking it with the Most High
So I won't celebrate his birthday, or the day they say he died
Cause I know that'll be coming back towards the end of time
And if I get the chance to meet him, I will gladly speak my mind
First greet him with Salaam, and ask if everything is fine
Oh Jesus, son of Mary from the family of Imran
It truly is an honor, read about you in the Qu'ran
It says you came to speak and preach about the oneness of Allah
Your miracles were vehicles to call them back to God
You never claimed divinity but healed the ones with leprosy
Gave vision to the blind but yet your people still refused to see
You spoke inside the cradle, and gave life to the deceased
And on a table you and your disciples had a feast
Oh Jesus son of Mary, tell me how could it really be
They killed your cousin John, he was amongst the salaaheen
And when they came for you, who knew the scene that they would see
They thought they would succeed, but your Lord brought you back to He
How many of their prophets did they kill in history?
Even though they came with signs, most of them would not believe
Oh Jesus son of Mary, can't they see we follow you
They really are confused, don't they know that you're a Muslim too
For surely you submit like all the sons of Adam do
Every atom is the matter of Allah Subhanau
So we don't praise you, we praise who you prayed to
And we know that you are free from what they associate with you
Oh Jesus son of Mary, I'm sorry for what you've heard
There calling you a God, saying Allah is your father
They say you came to take their sins as long as they believe
With no accountability, the devil has deceived
Claiming superiority they killed from sea to sea
Forcing us to take their books or live in poverty
Oh Jesus son of Mary, these people are not concerned
We call them to the truth, but their too arrogant to learn
They speak about Muhammed words you wish you never heard
Not knowing he's your brother, both honored messengers
Oh Jesus son of Mary, they don't follow you at all
Treat religion like a buffet line picking the things they want
First they changed your lines, than changed their minds, it truly is a shame
Draw you in their cartoons and make blasphemy of your name
They put you on their walls, and claim that you're the one who saves
But when the trumpet blows away, Jesus, what will they say
When everyone is running mad for you to intercede
But you will remain quiet, in the books they did not read
Oh Jesus, do they really think you care for what they sing
Cause you are nothing but a slave, so glory to the King
The one who made the sun and moon,
And put the son inside the womb
Was paid a visit by the Ruuh
The Holy Spirit spoke to her
Behind a screen, she nearly screamed,
The scene she'd seen was quite serene
O Mary you will have a son, companion to the righteous ones
With the gospel he will come, a great prophet he will become
But Mary said "how could that be?
How could a virgin still conceive?"
Oh Mary, it's as God decrees
Allah says Be! And it will be
And so you see, he came to be
One of the greatest, in history
And his story is our story
Jesus, the son of Mary
And I know he did not die for me
He did not die at all you see
He's coming back, not as a priest
But to kill the one eyed beast
When the sun sets in the east the people will be shook
And Jesus will descend as prophesized in holy books
Leading Fajr prayer, his tajweed will be off the hook
And if he recites from Surat Maryam, it would be so powerful
Oh people of the book, won't you return to what is true
Worship not created men, but the One who created you
And when he descends towards the end, Jesus will bring down nothing new
He will follow the law of Muhammed, may peace be upon him too
And peace be onto you, and onto those who follow truth
For the message that they brought is still alive amongst a few
So before you get all angry ask yourself: what would Jesus do
And just because you claim that you love Jesus, it don't mean that he loves you.

Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus: Muslim Version/ Response
"A poem I wrote to highlight the difference between Jesus and false religion. This is not an attack upon Christians, so please don't take this as offensive, it's just a means of education and let people know what Jesus was truly sent with. Jesus is a Prophet of Islam, yet a God of Christianity. In Islam God is all Powerful, But in Christianity God was overpowered and crucified on the cross, how can the Almighty God be overpowered, these are just examples for people to think about, we are not forcing you to believe, just ponder and question. The Quran is the final testament, Muhammad is the final Messenger. Islam is the final religion, so no I dont Hate Islam. One God, One God only, He does not beget nor was he begotten, He is the GREATEST. And has no partners. (Holy Quran Ch 112)"

Words of Advice: Reading Quran/ Learning About Islam?
Some points I want to make to those people who plan to/are reading the Quran or even learning about Islam in general.
1. If you want to sincerely learn about Islam, please be open minded. Let go of any ill-feelings, ideas, thoughts, impressions, etc. that you may have against Islam or Muslims, due to the media or judging a "Muslim." (We are humans too, so we also make mistakes just like everyone else!)
2. Have good intentions. Learn for YOUR own good and benefit.
3. For general info. on Islam, check out my other blog @ http://learnislam2day.blogspot.com/
Before you read the Quran, please keep some basic things in mind:
1. Respect it just like you would a Bible or any other religious scripture. This means to be in a clean state. Also, don't put it on the floor, underneath anything, or anywhere that isn't clean.
2. Ask Allah (God) for protection against doubts and evil thoughts and to guide you to the truth. (Sincerity makes all the difference!)
Please read below if you are reading an English translation of the Quran.
Translations of Quran (excerpt from An Introduction to the Quran (part 1 of 2): Organization and Meanings) Feel free to read the rest @ http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/370/
"A beginner should know a few points about Quran translations.
First, there is a distinction between the Quran and its translation. In Christian view, the Bible is the Bible, no matter what language it may be in. But a translation of the Quran is not the word of God, for the Quran is the exact Arabic words spoken by God, revealed to Prophet Muhammad by Gabriel. The word of God is only the Arabic Quran as God says: “Indeed, I revealed it as an Arabic Quran.” (Quran 12:2)
A translation is simply an explanation of the meanings of the Quran. That is why one modern English translation has been titled “The Meaning of the Glorious Quran”: it strives only to give the meaning, but falls short, as any translation must, of reproducing the form of the Holy Book. The translated text loses the inimitable quality of the original, so be aware of the degree to which a translation reflects the original message at every level of meaning, and that it will probably not match it.. For this reason, all which is regarded as ‘recitation’ of the Quran is to be done in Arabic, such as the recitation of the Quran in the five daily prayers of the Muslims.
Second, there is no perfect translation of the Quran, and, being human works, each almost always has errors. Some translations are better in their linguistic quality, while others are noted for their exactness in portraying the meaning. Many inaccurate, and sometimes misleading, translations that are generally not accepted as reliable renditions of the Quran by mainstream Muslims are sold in the market.
Third, while a review of all the English translations is out of the scope of this article, some translations are recommended over others. The most widely read English translation is by Abdullah Yusuf ‘Ali, followed by that of Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall, the first translation by an English Muslim. Yusuf ‘Ali’s translation is generally acceptable, but his footnote commentary, useful at times, can be odd and unacceptable. Another widespread translation is done by Dr. Hilali and Muhsin Khan called ‘Interpretation of the Meaning of The Noble Quran.’ Although it is the most accurate, the many transliterated Arabic terms and endless parentheses makes it hard to follow and confusing for a beginner. A newer version with more flowing text has been published by Saheeh International, and this is probably a better translation, as it combines both exactness in translation and readability."
If you are interested in learning more about Islam and Muslims and would like additional materials/information or have any questions, please leave a comment and I will try my best to help and will get to them as soon as possible.

NEW by Maher Zain- I Love You So
Found a song by Maher Zain from his new album "Forgive Me" that I really like and recommend (amongst many of his other songs :)
Lyrics
I pray to God
With my heart, soul and body
Every single day of my life
With every breath I solemnly promise
To try to live my life for you
O Allah, You did revive my soul
And shone Your light into my heart
So pleasing You is now my only goal
Oh I love You so
I love You so
Chorus: (<3 the chorus!!!)
Now I know how it’s like
To have Your precious love in my life
Now I know how it feels
To finally be at peace inside
I wish that everybody knew
How amazing it feels to love You
I wish that everyone could see
How Your love has set me free
Set me free and made me strong
O Allah, I’m forever grateful to You
Whatever I say could never be enough
You gave me strength to overcome my uncertainties
And stand firm against all the odds
You are the One who did revive my soul
You shone Your light into my heart
So pleasing You is now my only goal
Oh I love you so
I love you so
Chorus:
Now I know how it’s like
To have Your precious love in my life
Now I know how it feels
To finally be at peace inside
I wish that everybody knew
How amazing it feels to love You
I wish that everyone could see
How Your love has set me free
Set me free and made me strong
My love, my life, my days, my nights, my wealth, my prayers – all for You (2x)
And I swear that I will never put anyone
Or anything before You
My love, my life, my days, my nights, my wealth, my prayers – all for You
Now I know how it’s like
To have Your precious love in my life
Now I know how it feels
To finally be at peace inside
I wish that everybody knew
How amazing it feels to love You
I wish that everyone could see
How Your love has set me free
Set me free and made me strong

Open Your Eyes by Maher Zain
Contains music. Read the lyrics if you don't want to hear any music.
Lyrics:
Look around your self
Can't you see this wonder
Spread in front of you
The clouds floating by
The sky so clear and blue
Planets in their orbits
The moon and the sun
Such perfect harmony
Let's start questioning ourselves
Isn't this proof enough for us
Or are we so blind to push it all aside
No, we just have to
Chorus:
Open our eyes, our hearts and minds
If we just look right, we'll see the signs
We can't keep hiding from the truth
And let it take us by surprise
Protect us in the best way, Allah
Guide us every single day, Allah
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time
Look inside your self
Such perfect order
Hiding in your cells
Running in your veins
What about anger, love, and pain?
And all the things you're feeling
Can you touch them with your hand?
So are they really there?
Let's start questioning ourselves
Isn't this proof enough for us
Or are we so blind to push it all aside
No, we just have to
Chorus
Open our eyes, our hearts and minds
If we just look right, we'll see the signs
We can't keep hiding from the truth
And let it take us by surprise
Protect us in the best way, Allah
Guide us every single day, Allah
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time
When a baby is born
So helpless and weak
And you're watching it growing
So why deny what's in front of your eyes
The biggest miracle of life
We just have to
Chorus
Open our eyes, our hearts and minds
If we just look right, we'll see the signs
We can't keep hiding from the truth
And let it take us by surprise
Protect us in the best way, Allah
Guide us every single day, Allah
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time (2x)
Allah You created everything
We belong to You
Ya Rabb we raise our hands
Forever we thank You
Allhamdulillah
